He accepted Christ and on the very same day received the anointing of the Holy Spirit, started prophesying and speaking in tongues. He resigned his job and started a church at Vallioor. But because of the will of God after few years, he started his church at Nagercoil. The church was a thatched shed on the roof top of the house. God blessed the church through his servants who generously through their tithes and offerings helped us to buy a land and build the church.

In the year 2000, on September 1st the church was dedicated by Late Rev. A. Owen Roberts, President, Good Samaritan Fellowship of India. In the year 2003, with a clear vision from the Lord, Pastor Ruban started the Children's home.

He has led thousands of lost souls into Christ and is a useful vessel in God's hand proclaiming the Good News of Jesus throughout the world. He is blessed with a delightful family.
